finishing touches

The versatility offered by this custom built catamaran, or kit built catamaran, is unmatched by any production catamaran. With a shallow 22" draft and fast 21 knot cruise you have the freedom to go anywhere fast at nearly 2 miles per gallon!
The PowerCat 40 is powered by twin 140 HP Suzuki outboards. The 4-Stroke
Suzuki 140 Outboards offer dependable, efficient power that is among the
best in the industry. With the confidence of quiet, reliable power you can
enjoy all the creature comforts offered in this luxurious catamaran.
The PowerCat 40 has four staterooms with two queen
size staterooms in the bow and two full size staterooms in the stern. Each
hull has a full size bathroom complete with enclosed shower, head, sink and
medicine cabinet. A large enclosed air-conditioned main salon is on the
main deck with a galley, lounge and entertainment system.
The PowerCat 40 has the endurance for long range cruising with 176 gallons of fuel and 110 gallons of fresh water. An ample power generation system supplied by a generator and inverter; and gives you plenty of power to run the entertainment center, air conditioning, lights, and other accessories.
Having your own PowerCat 40 custom built for you or building the kit yourself is easy! The composite construction vessel is simple to build thanks to easy construction techniques and CNC machined parts. The PowerCat 40 can easily be built by first time builders/owners. The composite honeycomb core construction makes a light, strong and efficient structure. These construction methods and light weight gives the PowerCat 40 its amazing 22" draft.
